Kathmandu: Nepal lost the today’s first match held under the ACC U-19 Asia Cup Cricket held in The Sevens Stadium of Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

After losing the toss with Sri Lanka, Nepal was invited to bat first. It posted the target of 83 runs by scoring 82 in 28.5 overs at the loss of all wickets.
In reply, Sri Lanka comfortably met the modest target of 82 runs, scoring 83 runs in 14.5 overs with the loss of two wickets.

Nepal, placed in Group B, will face Bangladesh in their next match on Monday. The tournament, which began on December 12, features teams from Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, host UAE, and Malaysia.
