Nawalpur (Nawalparasi): Nepal’s first ‘Rhino Cruise’ is coming into operation from the Gaindakot-based Narayani River in Nawalparasi (Brdaghat-Susta East).

The Rhino Cruise is being operated with a plan to make Nawalpur and adjoining area a sustainable and promising new tourist destination.

Rhino Water Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Hotel River Crown Pvt. Ltd. are jointly going to operate Rhino Cruise in the Narayani River.

Company’s Managing Director Deepak Dhungel stated that the cruise intended for tourism purposes is planned to operate from Gaindakot Pulchowk to Devghat.

“We are preparing to operate Rhino Cruise not for transportation but for promoting tourism”, he said, adding “We are operating Rhino Cruise focusing on dinner cruises (including in-cruise dining packages).
Rhino Cruish has been rebuilt, Dhungel said, adding preparations are being made to launch the service this month.

Dhungel added that preparations for regular operation are underway after technical testing.
