Dodhara Chandani (Kanchanpur) : A girl has died and another person was injured in an elephant attack in Kanchanpur.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Hem Bahadur Shahi, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, six-year-old daughter Rojina Saud died when an elephant attacked her house in Chandev, Laljhandi Rural Municipality-6 of the district.

The wild elephant attacked Kishan Singh Saud’s house last night. Saud’s 55-year-old mother Parbati Saud and his daughter Rojina was injured while trying to escape after the elephant attacked the house. They were rushed to Dhangadhi for further treatment.

According to spokesperson Shahi, the injured Rojina died during treatment at Nawajivan Hospital in Dhangadhi.
