Kamalamai (Sindhuli) : At least 10 people were injured when a microbus and a bus collided with each other at Sunkoshi rural municipality-5 along the BP highway.

Such number of people were injured when the microbus (Ba 4 Kha 5052) heading towards Kakadbhitta from Kathmandu and the bus (Bagmati province 01-006 Kha 2297) en route to Kathmandu from Khurkot collided with each other.

Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Lal Dhoj Subedi, shared that microbus driver Guj Bahadur Magar, 38, of Lalitpur metropolitan city-15, Anita Neupane, 30, of Mandandeupur municipality-9 of Kavrepalanchowk, and Prabin Tiwari, 32, were critically injured in the accident.

Microbus driver Magar is undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital.
Similarly, Sanskriti Yadav, 9, and Kalpana Rai, 32, of Shivasatakshi municipality-8; Amesh Khadka, 38, of Mechi municipality; Amrit Rana Magar, 22, of Bhadrapur municipality; and Din Prasad Sigdel, 42, of Kachankawal rural municipality were also injured in the incident and they are receiving treatment at a local Aatmiya Community Hospital, Khalte.

Police have forwarded investigation into the case while the bus driver Suman Subedi of Baiteshwor rural municipality-5 in Dolakha district has been arrested.
