Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Shalikram Jammakattel, is scheduled to taking vote of confidence in the Province Assembly meeting this afternoon.

The Province Assembly secretariat informed that the Province Assembly is meeting in the afternoon where CM Jammakattel is taking the votes of confidence. The CM had formed a three-member Cabinet on January 10.

Speaker Bhuwan Kumar Pathak informed that necessary preparations were completed to conduct vote of confidence as per Province Assembly Regulation, 2074. In the Assembly, the Nepali Congress has 37 members, UML 27, Maoist Centre 21, RPP 13, CPN (Unified Socialist) seven, NWPP three and Hamro Nepali Party two.
