Dasarathchand (Baitadi) : The driver of an electric vehicle has died in an accident that took place near Ghodhar on the Sillegada-Badiya road section last night.

The vehicle bearing registration number plate (Su.Pra. 02-001 Ja. 0624) was heading towards Kalagaun from Khochlek in Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-3 of the district when it met with an accident.

The driver of the vehicle, Madan Thagunna of Dogadakedar-5, who was seriously injured, died at Dadeldhura Hospital during treatment, said District Police Office spokesperson Baldev Badu.

The driver was the only person in the vehicle. The vehicle fell 250 meters off the road. The District Police Office has stated that further investigation into the incident is underway.
