Kathmandu : Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Nepal, Abdulla Saeed Mubarak Jarwan Al Shamsi has said his country has been supporting the world community during crisis including natural disaster.

The UAE is always ready for this initiative. At a programme ‘ The UAE and Humanitarian Effort: A Sustainable Strategy to Serve Humanity’ organised here on Wednesday on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, he mentioned, “As annual tradition of launching a humanitarian campaign from the UAE to the world this month, we are launching the ‘Life Savings’ campaign to save five million children from malnutrition this month.”

Similarly, Ambassador Shamsi added that the UAE contributed 1.6 million US dollars last year as the humanitarian support as well as pledged over 500 million US dollar for 2026.
