Birgunj , Two boys drowned in Dhendukhola stream of Thori rural municipality-2 in Parsa district today. Ansa Kathayat, 8, and his younger brother Ayas Kathayat, 4, drowned in the stream while swimming this morning, according to Information Officer at District Police Office, Kishor Lamsal.

“The locals rescued the boys as they were floating on the stream and rushed to a local health post, Thori, but the medical persons declared them dead shortly,” he added. The lifeless bodies have been taken to the Narayani Hospital for postmortem.
