DoFE directs cyber centres, training centres to remove misleading announcements

Kathmandu : The Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) has instructed the cyber centres and training institutes operating in its periphery to remove by April 13 the misleading information related to ‘labour approval’ that they have purportedly announced.
The Department has instructed that such information should be immediately removed, stating that notices like ‘Work related to labour permit is done here’, ‘Labour approval-related work is done’, ‘Labour online forms are filled up here’, or other misleading labour-related information have been misleading the foreign employment aspirants.
DoFE stated that works related to labour approvals are carried out only by the Department and the designated labour and employment offices.
The Department issued a notice today urging an immediate cessation of writings, announcements and publicity that create confusion regarding the matter.
DoFE has stated that violating this notification will result in action under the Foreign Employment Act, 2064, and other applicable laws.
